Engineering Standards & Quality Compliance

We operate strictly within national and international engineering standards to ensure structural safety, environmental compliance, and long-term asset reliability.

The Standards We Work To

Compliance Is Designed In, Not Added On

Every discipline we deliver is governed by recognised national and international standards, verified through documented inspection and testing before handover.

SANS / SABS

National Standards

Compliance with relevant South African Bureau of Standards and South African National Standards for electrical installations (SANS 10142), civil building codes, and structural integrity.

Quality & Safety Assurance

Strict adherence to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols, and site safety plans on all active project sites.

In Practice

What Compliance Actually Means For You

Standards are only worth something if they are enforced on site and evidenced on paper. Here is what you receive.

  • Electrical installations wired, tested and certified to SANS 10142, with a certificate of compliance issued.
  • Solar PV systems designed, installed and commissioned to IEC guidelines covering array safety, inverters and storage.
  • Civil and structural work built to relevant SANS building codes with defined inspection hold points.
  • Every active site operates under an OHS-compliant safety plan with enforced PPE protocols.
  • Documentation — as-builts, test records, warranties and manuals — handed over as one pack.

Our Quality Control Chain

Five checkpoints between the brief and the handover pack. Nothing proceeds until the previous stage is signed off.

01

Design Verification

Drawings, load calculations and system sizing are checked and signed off by a Registered Professional Engineer before any material is ordered.

02

Material Compliance

Aggregates, cable, switchgear and PV hardware are sourced to specification, with certificates of conformity retained on file.

03

In-Progress Inspection

Defined hold points — foundations, reinforcement, first fix, and pre-commissioning — are inspected and recorded before the next stage proceeds.

04

Testing & Certification

Installations are tested, thermally imaged where applicable, and issued with the relevant compliance certification.

05

Handover Documentation

As-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties and test records are compiled into a single handover pack.

Health & Safety

A Zero-Harm Site Culture

Strict adherence to Occupational Health and Safety regulations, personal protective equipment protocols, and site safety plans on all active project sites.

PPE Enforced

Mandatory, inspected personal protective equipment for every person on site, without exception.

Risk Assessed

Task-based risk assessments and method statements prepared before high-risk work begins.

Toolbox Talks

Daily safety briefings keep crews aligned on hazards, method and site-specific controls.
